About Oubaha
OUBAHA is founded by Ikram Oubaha. During her studies Business Economics and Business Administration, Ikram realized she wanted to become an entrepreneur and run her own business. Her willpower and her belief that one should always try to achieve one’s goal, gave her even more inspiration to carry on her dream.
At an early age Ikram was fascinated by jewellery and would mainly prefer golden or silver jewellery. During various holidays abroad, she invariably searched for special necklaces, earrings and rings. As she got older, Ikram set her sights on other materials and discovered the beauty of semiprecious stones such as agate, crystal, turquoise, onyx and pearls. She felt that the precious stones had to be processed for jewellery and therefore she designed two necklaces which she wore with various outfits. The positive reactions to her designs encouraged her to design her own collection. She quickly realized that she had to combine her two passions, design and business.
The OUBAHA collection was introduced in the Netherlands in January 2007. The collections were welcomed with great enthusiasm and were sold in many different fashion stores. Full of inspiration, the second collection would soon follow.
